Founder Profile: Deric Guy

Founder & Systems Architect, AquaVolt Systems

Deric Guy is the visionary founder of AquaVolt Systems, where he designs resilient, self-sustaining infrastructure that puts power, water, and food back into the hands of everyday people. With over a decade of deep technical exploration and hands-on problem-solving, Deric leads the development of integrated, modular systems that eliminate reliance on traditional utilities and reduce the true cost of living.

He is the inventor of the AquaVolt platform, a suite of off-grid energy-water systems including:

  • AquaVolt Solaris – A fortified, solar-hydrogen microgrid hub capable of delivering 24/7 power and purified water in extreme environments.
  • AquaVolt Home Oasis – A compact, AI-managed residential unit that generates hydrogen, purifies water, and maintains energy autonomy without batteries.
  • HYDRA Nexus and AquaVolt Ghost – Specialized systems built for humanitarian, disaster response, and tactical use where reliability and mobility are mission-critical.

Deric is also behind the HelioHydro Renewable Cascade (H2RC), a novel approach that transforms abandoned mining sites into high-yield renewable energy and mineral recovery ecosystems. His patented cascading system links solar-thermal, pumped hydro storage, and water purification into a single, efficient flow.

In parallel, he’s building Nexus Farm—a regenerative agriculture model powered by AquaVolt technology. The farm aims to feed 30–50 families with real food at prices that challenge major retailers, proving that sustainability doesn’t have to come at a premium.

Deric’s mission is simple but radical: to create energy-water-food independence at the household and community level. Everything he builds is designed to scale without exploitation, endure without grid dependency, and operate where traditional infrastructure cannot.
